Secretary (2022 to 2026)
Donna has been involved with children in many ways. She has a certificate in Early Childhood development and worked as a Preschool teacher for 6 years in St. Paul Minnesota. After working at other jobs for 20 years, she began to volunteer for Child Evangelism Fellowship in Grants Pass, OR. She taught elementary school Good News clubs for 17 years and was also a supervisor for the club. She volunteered at the elementary school where the GNC was located and worked with the 4th and 5th grade teachers that had her clubbers in their classes. She then began a Bible study for Middle Schoolers at one of the middle schools in Grants Pass. She taught at the Murphy Outback a teen center for 5 years.
In 2012 she was hired at Calvary Crossroads in Grants Pass to supervise the Children's ministry which she did for 5 years and also was Deacon of all the equipping ministries which were the teaching ministries of the Church.
She moved to Florence in April of 2021. Her first experience with Classical Education came when she visited her grandchildren in New York city who attended a Classical Christian School. It has been on her heart that every child should have an opportunity to experience that kind of an education. Classical education teaches the whole child in truth, beauty. goodness and virtue. These qualities are desperately needed today.
